Project Summary

eDoctor is a groundbreaking initiative in Pakistan that utilizes telehealth technology to bridge the gap between qualified female doctors and the healthcare system. Launched in 2018, the project empowers female doctors who have stepped away from practice due to domestic or social reasons.

Project Scope

The target audience for this initiative is out-of-work female MBBS graduates. The objectives of the program include updating their knowledge in various medical fields through a self-paste virtual certification program and providing hands-on workshops at Dow University and other medical institutes. Additionally, the program aims to train participants in telemedicine and mobile health to enable remote consultations and facilitate their reintegration into the healthcare system through partnerships with NGOs and medical institutions.
